About Us
Pennypack House School
Our school operates inside the Philadelphia Department of Prisons and is run by School District of Philadelphia teachers and staff. We educate young men and women who are awaiting trial for alleged crimes. Our students range from ages fourteen to twenty two, with our eighteen to twenty one year old population predominantly special education.

Vision Statement
Pennypack House School will provide the highest quality instruction; best practices and interventions that will match the needs of the individual student, ensuring all students reach their fullest potential. Our school wide learning community will include but not be limited to data driven decisions, ongoing collaborations and differentiated instruction.
Serving
Continuously serving as an accelerated high school program as part of the School District of Philadelphia for grades 9-12,where students can earn their high school diploma. Students are able to graduate each quarter with their proper credits and Act 158 requirements fulfilled.
Certified Juveniles – 14-17 years of age that have allegedly committed adult crimes.
Adult Students – 18-22 years of age, primarily special education awaiting court dates for alleged crimes
